ONE NATION FORUM
"Sound the Alarm Across The Land!"
Who we are: One Nation Forum is comprised of a coalition of Israelite leaders and scholars from all over the world. Purpose: We have assembled ourselves together for the purpose of the promoting the understanding and adherence to the sacred laws of Yehowah. We pray that our efforts will be acceptable to The Most High . Further, we pray that we will find favor with Him and that He will lift this captivity and restore us to our land where we will serve Him only on one accord. Current Objective: The first project that the one nation forum undertook was to develop a national calendar for use by Israelites all over the world. Many Israelites across the world expressed unhappiness with the gentile produced calendars that they were using. We felt that these gentile calendars did not reflect our most sincere desire to adhere to the appointed times of The Most High with our whole heart/mind. Calendar Research We examined the gentile calendars particularly the Jewish calendar and found that the appointed days of The Most High have been manipulated The men of the Sanhedrin developed rules for the postponement of The Most High’s appointed days so that Yom Kippur never occurs on the day before or after the Sabbath and further that Yom Teruah never falls on a Sabbath. These rules have no basis in scripture; it is merely done for the convenience of the people. As such, we assembled ourselves together to develop a calendar based on the sacred laws of Yehowah that allow the Most High’s appointed times fall as they naturally occur. New Moon – Crescent or Concealed There is no place in the Scriptures where it states definitively whether or not the new moon is crescent or concealed. As far back as we can document, Israelites determined the new moon by sighting the first crescent on the top of the highest peaks in the land of Israel and declaring the moon, new. Our concern however, is that this account of the method of determining the new moon was established by the same men who instituted the rules of postponement and who also used the names of Babylonian deities on the calendar. We looked at a voluminous amount of research from many sources, however, the bottom line for determining the whether the “new” moon was crescent or concealed was Genesis 1:14. The light would be for a sign. The consensus of the Leaders was that the 1st light of the moon after the conjunction was the New Moon. Conversely, the proponents of the Concealed moon argue that the absence or disappearance of the moon was also a sign. New Moon of Abib This was based on the grain harvest in Jerusalem. This year One Nation Forum will plant our own crop and have our own Israelite observers in the land to monitor the crop. Shavuoat Our scholars have uncovered some disturbing facts about Shavuoat. The gentile calendar tradition states the Shavuoat has a set date. However, when our scholars looked into the language, they uncovered that Shavuoat is connected to a harvest and is not a set date, however, it is a set day, which is the 1st day of the week; the morrow after the Shabbath. Reluctance to Change We realize how shocked you all must be to find that your efforts to served The Most High with your whole mind were thwarted and subverted by men for their convenience. We realize that it is also difficult for you to go to your employers, friends, family and associates and say that you are no longer following the Jewish calendar and that you need to observe different days than they do. Therefore, we are we are creating an organization to fight any legal challenges to our calendar. We are calling for Israelites skilled in the legal profession to advise us in researching legal precedents to the law. The Work Continues…. This is not a closed issue. The work we have done is not carved in stone. Any opinion or topic we have discussed in the past can be re-visited. We have not closed our minds to any leaders or scholars, male or female who will come forward with more information for consideration, in fact, we welcome you to participate in these most important discussions. That is the purpose of this bulletin board to solicit opinions and research of Israelites all over the country on this important topic that affects us all. We humbly ask that The Most High, Elohay Avraham, Elohay Yitzqak, and Elohay Yaakov have mercy on our efforts, and ask that He look upon us with favor as we do these things; attempting to adhere to His appointed days.
